Residential ProgramThe Residential Program, which includes houses for boys and girls, is designed to provide a loving, supportive, orderly environment with special opportunities for academic cultural and spiritual growth. This pioneering project is believed to be one of the first of its kind in the U.S. The program is based on a smaller program developed by the school which served five children for six years. That smaller program served as a model for our two dormitories for 14 girls and for 14 boys. Each dorm has Christian house parents and community volunteers serving as role models for the children. The Assisi Foundation, brothers Ernest and David Williams, the Golightly Trust, and Mary and John Dicken all had enough confidence in the value of the boarding program to be the agent of change and make the girls' and boys' dormitories a reality. It is a totally unique approach for reaching children who are so easily get lost in today’s culture. Girls' Residential ProgramDozens of girls have been nurtured in our girls' domitory in the last few years.
